No̱ 101 Fischersund Solid Perfume

Fischersund No̱ 101 captures for me the tranquility away from the rugged landscapes of Iceland with picturesque green hills of an insular spring, far from the capital. It translates the spirit of this likable people very peacefully; appealing, calming, straightforward.

Juicy green meadows full of dandelions and other spring flowers. Airy, soft, and delicate plant moisture in my own garden, because the rain barrel is leaking. Garden furniture, four-legged family members, and a clear view of the sky. With the fresh temperatures, a light jacket is a must.

Especially the green dandelion is very well done in this fragrance. It smells as if you are crushing the stems and have the milky sap of the dandelion sticking to your fingers. A very positive, bright, fresh-soft, pleasant, but also unusual and yet easily accessible, uncomplicated scent.

A hint of ozone, cool sun rays, subtly dark berry nuances, and moderately sweet grass. A successful combination of green, fresh, woody notes. The indicated cigarette is more scenically than olfactorily perceivable for me.

The solid is somewhat more reserved in direct comparison to the Eau de Parfum, it does not radiate as far, but lasts significantly better and is even more cuddly. You have to like the sticky consistency of this solid; otherwise, it could be perceived as bothersome on the skin, because the carrier (carrier oils like meadowfoam seed oil and jojoba oil, but also candelilla wax) - at least on my skin - does not absorb very well.

All in all, a budget-friendly alternative to the EdP spray in a characterful, rustic metal tin that resembles a miniature fish can.
