*I don't know what it is, but the top note feels almost gourmand-green to me, or has a delicious scent. It's not really gourmand in the edible sense or reminiscent of a dessert. That fades quickly after the first 5 minutes, maybe a mix of mate, ginger, vetiver, and the fleeting grapefruit.
A bit of cardamom also comes through as it develops.
The sweetness is very well integrated up to the base, but then it becomes a bit more intense.
One of the most beautiful mate scents.*
