Fragrance Makers from Karlsruhe (Think global act local)
Hooked on the scents from Florascent, I decided to purchase M.Balode.
The fragrance starts off quite sweet, it must be the tonka bean. One could almost attribute a feminine note to it. A unisex scent, as I see it.
Over time, the sweet beginning transitions into a grassy, woody note that lasts damn long and emphasizes the masculine side more. If you will, the spice lies in the depth.
Applied in the morning, a noticeable residue remains until the evening.
This is a characteristic I have noticed in almost all the fragrances from the small fragrance manufactory in Karlsruhe.
I don’t want to advertise too much. But these scents are truly something extraordinary. I am surprised that so little has been written about these fragrances. After all, it has real discussion potential.
Local organic product, and that in an absolute luxury segment, perfumes.
Is there or was there anything comparable?

The patchouli-dominant scent is really interesting, but unfortunately, it doesn't last long, which is usually the case with natural oils instead of synthetics. However, this has nothing to do with being organic.

I just tested all the samples that could be bought at FS. This one is among my favorites.

100% agree. The scents from Florascent are really something special. "Du soleil," a blind buy, has accompanied me throughout the summer. Great fragrance!

Tonka, beeswax, hay, wood - sounds perfect, going straight on my wishlist. But where can I try it?

Awesome! Thanks! We just had a question from Balode in the forum + we couldn't really do much with it because there were no comparison comments for the unknown scent yet. Yep! Florascent deserves more attention on Parfumo!
