Limes Floris 1806

According to Floris homepage, the fragrance was created in the late 18th century to make the heat of the city more bearable. Juan Floris, the perfumer has mastered this task excellently, because the fragrance is above all one thing: refreshing!!
Especially the prelude is a true freshness kick: so lemon-sour that you almost can't control your facial muscles anymore (this involuntary reaction, where it "pulls everything together"). This fresh boost does not take long, only a few minutes.
What follows is very gentle, already refreshingly lemony, also slightly flowery-green (delicate lime blossom), ... but very discreet!
On myself I have the feeling that I can no longer perceive the scent after just one hour, but on my clothes I could still easily hear this discreet freshness the next day My conclusion: a great summer fragrance that really refreshes and certainly doesn't bother anybody due to the barely existing Sillage (from the heart note).
