tart indolic white flowers, very green-leathery + mimosa, herbal. Base somewhat vague-creamy + earthy-green vetiver. Could be considered a chypre.

Thanks for this statement, I wasn't quite sure if I might have a different scent than the reviewers here... I actually find it not bright and light, but rather a bit vintage, chypre, and more sophisticated/'elegant'.

Well, actually "chypre" makes sense when you consider it's based on a 200-year-old fragrance. It's not completely out there...
Hehe, then your sample should be immune to any mix-ups!

However, I received an original sample of this directly from Floris in London.

I found this scent to be about the same. I've also had experiences with incorrectly labeled or already altered samples. However, it has taught me to be cautious with statements and reviews.

I smell just like that again. I would have classified it as a Chypre right away and I also find it quite stinky; that could be the daffodil, though. But I don't want to spray it on a second time.
