Definitely sounds like the older Bond crowd. ;)
What makes the florals more masculine? The other notes? (Not a gender-critical question, genuinely curious. ;)
They don't come across as very powdery or sweet. Also not musty or outdated, and in combination with the other notes (nutmeg, citrus notes, lavender, moss, etc.), they don't feel more masculine either. That's at least my perception. If the flowers were alone, they definitely wouldn't seem so masculine to me.
Starts citrus-fresh and masculine floral, not too powdery or old-fashioned. It becomes a bit soapier, herbaceous, spicier, and woodier. Very classic overall. It's also very refined and balanced. The sandalwood is noticeable. The moss is rather subdued on me.
Of all my lavender tests so far, this is one of the best.
Thanks to Axiomatic for the testing opportunity!
