A Geisha's Dream
As the last Fo'ah (for now), #17 is a hit. Another. Not a bullseye, but Fo'ah scents can definitely make you smell. Even if (again) the last ounce is missing. Of enthusiasm, of ideas, of oomph.
That particular palm-oily DNA that stands out across almost all their scents is here too - but now it's dipped in pink cherry blossom water, very creamy, floral and Asian. Very nice! Rather feminine, but not only. Transparent and pondy, high-end and bright, pure and clear. Almost a hint of Hermes. Churchblossom Creek bend of banal encounters. A little defensive and dreamy, a little safe and continuing to be very straightforward and turnless, momothematic, simple. But - here especially - in an impossibly chilling and introspective way. "17" might even be my favorite overall among fo'ahs.
Flacon: angular and not greasy
Sillage: in the extended mediocrity like most Fo'ahs
Durability: 6-7 hours - also here Fo'ah swims unexcited with, sticks out nowhere
Conclusion: a creamy cherry blossom dream with a little little drive and corners - but all the more soothing and fine effect!
