L'Instant de Francesca Dell'Oro

Guerlain's "L'Instant Pour Homme" is a modern masterpiece, almost regardless of whether it's the chocolatier Extreme or the regular everyday version. This seems to be known at Francesca Dell'Oro, as they have boldly noted it on page 29. "Page 29" strikingly reminds one of the Parfumo men's milestone, yet it comes across as a bit bolder, sharper, and (unfortunately) more floral. It also has a leathery finish. A wonderful vanilla scent that offers much more than just the wobbly-sweet pudding spice.

"Page 29" is a playful fragrance in terms of masculine/feminine. And that's great. Because both genders can totally rock this! If this one side is already so fantastic, how is the whole book? ;-) Jokes aside, anyone who recalls Guerlain's stroke of genius and even layers a few notes on top and underneath can claim the highest art of perfumery for themselves. A true crowd-pleaser that has so much expression and recognition potential that it makes for a really strong companion. If a woman is into it and smells it on you often, it will be very hard to score any negative points with her.

Speaking of which: I only have minor deductions due to the blunt roses and other light flowers in the aftertaste, which can make it seem a bit too penetrating and overwhelming. This leans towards Kopping for me. However, once it settles, it becomes a fragrance for the ages. It cannot be categorized or limited to individual notes - it simply IS. And it offers enough projection for everyone to merge with it or succumb to it.

Bottle: perfect color, the bottle fits well in my large hand.
Sillage: more suited for autumn and winter, as it can really amplify at times.
Longevity: no complaints - 9 hours is great.

Conclusion: a spicy Superman (or Superwoman) that can turn even the toughest week around in one evening. The strongest from the brand for me. Leather. Vanilla. Labdanum. Wow, it has real character, even if I could do without its floral heights...

:D Also, sorry, since I'm only into men, I can say from experience that real downsides can't be overlooked, even with the most beautiful scent associations, the best fragrance in the world, or a beloved perfume on a beloved man ^^. Not even the subconscious can manage that. -
I'm just putting your recommendation into perspective because I found this scent to be quite erratic. Especially regarding first dates, I would personally advise caution :)
