It's not in there at all - but to me, it just smelled that way... I have a hard time with some vetiver notes...

Saffron is always a bit tricky.

For me personally, there's a bit too much tonka bean at times, and the saffron effect bothers me at the beginning - but it develops nicely.

I like iris-leather, as long as it's not too sweet.

Sounds tempting; I've come to like leather these days...

At first, it has a hint of some oriental spicy leather scent, but as it develops, it becomes softer, and the vetiver keeps it from becoming too sweet with the vanilla.

It's really nice - just not a fan of the "saffron effect"... but overall, I like it better than other fragrances in this category.

I can understand that, it's hard to compete against it 😉

No, I'm just biased by Cuir de Lancôme... (and Cuir d'Ange)... those are the most beautiful leather scents for me...

(with kind thanks to Maya11)
Definitely a leather scent on me with an oriental, resinous sweetness that I actually mistook for saffron for a moment; I've smelled similar fragrances in this style before - but this one isn't overpowering, it's quite strong with a nice progression; not entirely my thing, but anyone who enjoys leather notes should give it a try; due to the sweetness, it's more suited for the colder months, though not overwhelming.
