Still Life in Milano

"Voile Confit" belongs to the rare category of summer gourmands, a treat for warm days. Somewhere between cocktail and praline, everyone loves it with just a hint of sweet nose. As a fragrance twin of "Still Life in Rio," it will surely find friends, but I like it very much. Maybe a bit too sweet, as if almonds were soaked in a Caipi, but I’m not quite out of the age of beach parties and bikini beauties yet...

"Voile Confit" is an almond lemon cake. Quite simple, quite delicious. Easy to wear, a scent for both beach and active vacations. Of course, if possible, near the Caribbean. Refreshing yet calorie-rich. As if you were sprinkling almonds on a Capri ice. Invigorating, powerful, minimally annoying (if overdosed). Like an ice-cold Amaretto. It doesn’t quite reach the excellent Olfactive Studio scent, but it’s a close race. This one is heavier and sweeter, not quite as zesty and sparkling.

Bottle: a corner ball
Sillage & longevity: not as aggressive as one might think for the target group and also "only" 6 hours.

Conclusion: like a lemon sorbet after vanilla ice cream after an almond cake - I call that a calorie party on the beach of Costa Rica!
