It’s done, Thays concludes my Fueguia test marathon. For some fragrances, I couldn’t write any comments at all because the scents didn’t reveal themselves to me. But with Thays, I want to give it a try since he is the last one in the box.
Thays is, in my opinion, above all else: GREEN! So green, it doesn’t get any greener. I love green tea and the scent of green tea, but I don’t like mate, not even how it smells. And that is the big downside for me with this fragrance. It primarily smells grassy green. Osmanthus hardly gets a chance to make its presence known, and therefore I can’t describe Thays as floral either. He is mainly green-spicy, in an almost toxic green tone.
Sillage and longevity are again weaker with Thays, which raises the question of price-performance ratio for me once more.
I don't like mate either! Although I'm usually a teenager, I only like East Frisian Assam and some rooibos varieties, as well as matcha and gyokuro. But here’s a big trophy for you, you diligent one, with roses. Check them out in my album; they scent the whole apartment!
