"Rejoice, O choirs of angels
Rejoice, O heavenly hosts
Let the trumpets sound..
Behold, the darkness has vanished everywhere!
From the precious wax of the bees prepared
the candle shines in glorious splendor…”
This year, Easter morning truly begins with a radiant sunrise.
A fine spice lingers in the air. The sun already has enough strength to warm my soul. With the wax of the Easter candle still on my hands, I pick a few flowers in the garden. They are still small, hidden, but they are there! And each one brings a smile to my face. Tied into a small bouquet, they adorn the breakfast table.
Honey-sweet, pleasantly fragrant, spring-colored morning!
…
The scent starts with a fine spice that slightly softens the sweetness of the honey and makes the wax noticeable. I perceive the flowers as a loose, colorful bouquet. The many facets play together and allow me to feel the lightness of spring. In the base, it becomes warm and sandalwood-soft. A small splash of citrus freshness keeps the joy alive for a few hours.
I hadn't even noticed that one. It must have fallen victim to the exhausting journey back. That sounds absolutely wonderful. Thanks for this Easter greeting. For me, Easter lasts until Ascension anyway.
That's true. That wasn't this year; I was wondering about that.
Yeah, actually until Pentecost. But from Ascension to Pentecost, we have the Cultural Country Party here, which is a whole different time.
Thank you, even a year after I wrote the review ;-) But what do time and space matter when it comes to Easter?!? Easter happens whenever I allow it. Wishing you a lovely Easter season! (For me, it lasts until Pentecost..)
Oh how lovely, today was fulfilling but also quite exhausting. I wanted to treat myself this evening and unwind a bit. That's when the thought hit me to indulge in a "Bejot" 😊 and here I found it, a beautiful text filled with heart and so much love. You have a wonderful way of describing perfumes that I could listen to for hours. Tonight, you've managed to lift my spirits, and I can almost smell the warm, fresh sandalwood scent. I imagine picking a small bouquet in the garden now and maybe dreaming about it later. Thank you, dear, and please never stop writing.

This beeswax candle must smell lovely and warm.
Sounds very beautiful again.
Really enjoyed reading it!
