Samara Gather Perfume 2016

Radiantly Awakening the Green Nature..
Nature
awakens promisingly.
Come with me to the valley of verbs,
where sharp green
shimmers in citrus lights.
Dive under a shower of herbs
where the shell-bitter
nourishing melon drops patter.
Feel the delicate lemon winds and
breathe in the fresh
Kaffir lime sparkle.
Lay yourself
on lovely violet leaves,
there you rest
and enjoy all that
fruity cool green in the making..

Samara starts for me distinctly radiant bitter, sharp-green and sweet-citrusy, before it then transitions after about 5 hours into a earthier base. However, it remains green throughout.
A wonderful scent that has for me something radiant bright and ethereally calming.
Just like the fresh awakening of the green nature..
"A pluvial walk through the emerging spring with its dangling tree seeds and unfolding secrets...."
writes Gather Perfumes about their fragrance Samara.
By the way, Samara is also the name for the fruit seeds of the elm.
(Included in the fragrance notes: elm seeds)
These are called winged fruits or simply Samara.
Thanks to the dear UntermWert :)!

Earth isn't really my thing, but otherwise the scent sounds quite nice - just like your comment :)

With outstretched hands, I felt your poetic scent images like one feels the rain in summer. Wonderful!

Your beautiful scent descriptions come before a more factual explanation here. The fresh awakening of green nature is a nice analogy, for example, although for me, a new day or spring brings different scents than bitter and sharp-green, so this perfume probably isn't made for me.

Very well described! Sounds just like my taste. The Gathers also need to be tested at some point.

Thanks for your poem. Samara is a little green magic, and it's totally refreshing in this hot weather that's been delayed this year.

You've really captured it well. A great scent, an equally impressive text.
