Camicia 113 Gianfranco Ferré 2015 Eau de Parfum

You probably all know those days when you drag yourself into the office or whatever workplace, feeling quite unmotivated, wishing you could have stayed home, but no one cares.....!

Today is exactly such a day for me, my mood is rather mediocre, it’s raining incessantly, and I already had a hard time choosing my outfit.
Well, let’s keep it low-key today and go with a light blue blouse and jeans, simple but neat.
I still need a suitable fragrance, what fits my gloomy mood and understated outfit today?
I quickly decided on Camicia, it’s always a good choice when you want to feel well-groomed but don’t want to stand out too much.
That might sound a bit negative, but it’s definitely not meant to be, because Camicia becomes like a second skin on such days, wrapping me gently without ever being too loud.

The fresh top note, where bergamot appears sprightly with magnolia and peony, soon gives way to the wonderfully creamy note of iris and violet.
The fragrance is never sweet; it moves between green-powdery and slightly bitter, yet it is not strict or even masculine.
Patchouli subtly underlines the scent but doesn’t play a leading role.

Camicia is indeed clean and pure like a white shirt, but I must emphasize that I never find it boring.
I could even imagine it being very suitable for a job interview when you want to come across as "competent" and well-groomed, or for those office days when you don’t want to overwhelm your colleagues with a headache-inducing scent.
It has a calming quality, and it pairs excellently with my blouse today; I truly couldn’t handle a sweet, dominant fragrance today!
