the elegant one with hoof
That was my first thought when I took this beautiful bottle out of the packaging.
Who remembers the slim-cut dresses made of supple materials with such a cleverly cut scarf, thrown over the left shoulder with an elegant flourish and draped there jauntily? A tribute to the elegant women we all love to look at.
And this impression is reinforced the closer I get to the noble fragrance "Créature".
From the name, I imagined a sinfully animal, slightly dirty creation; I was not prepared for such a spicy beauty with a pleasant soap background!

Even the eau de toilette is a complete success: Opulent, floral, oriental-spicy, with a pleasant woody nuance.
This wonderfully fragrant liquid from the eye-catching bottle envelops me like a cozy, warm robe of soft, honey-golden velvet with oriental spice dots (similar to the small imprints of cat's paws), which I associate with exotic spices as they used to be traded in these special stores: For example, cloves, allspice, nutmeg and rolled cinnamon bark, I also think I detect a distant hint of black pepper.
Not all the secrets of a fragrance composition need to be unraveled; rather, I enjoy the successful totality of the fragrance picture.
Oriental spices that caress the senses and lush aromas of roses, violets and lilies simply belong together; their balsamic interplay enchants the surroundings.
And wouldn't you dream away the time within the walls of the seraglio in the shade of orange and other citrus trees with their foliage, flowers and fruit and between lavishly flowering hedges of jasmine, nibbling on fine vanilla and marzipan cookies?

This velvety robe of fragrance seems to have spent a long time in this environment; it absorbed all these magnificent aromatic notes, resulting in an opulent fragrance creation that fitted in perfectly with the rich colors and scents of its time in the fragrance world of the time:
The "golden" eighties!
How we indulged in such abundance back then, whether during the day or in the evening at the big show = fragrance opulence was always on! And rarely very scarce!

So today, "Créature" is a little out of time, just like a beloved, frequently worn favorite, but no less beautiful than this richly woven fragrance.
The first, slightly animalic impression shows how skillfully flowers, woods and spices can be used to make us believe something that is not.
Nevertheless, "Créature" allows us to experience a fairy tale from "1,001 nights", because time travel in fragrances is possible.

October arrives cool, gray and with heavy rain.
I will spend this day in the charming company of this elegant lady,
who came to me some time ago through the collection slimming of a dear and very generous fragrance friend here.
She and many of her kind are welcome: Such gems enchant and are timeless for that reason alone.

For my salvation
Sometimes, when I'm doing my little run around, I ponder my thoughts and also think about why I always want to have new perfumes, even though - God knows - I've already collected and had enough.

Is it because I want to compensate for something I'm missing?
Does my soul need these warm, spicy, tangy-floral, grassy-green, woody, aromatic, vanilla-accented, oriental-scented, summery-herbaceous, lemony, resinous-earthy, powdery-sweet, animalic-chypry, fruity-fresh fragrances that multiply in my various places in various rooms like dear little rabbits?
Could be, because once again I've got hold of a great little treasure that snuggles up to me in an oriental warmth (today is THE day for it, cold and windy, partly rainy), so you need something cuddly like CRÉATURE.

A spicy oriental, minimally floral, but not overtly so. You can also smell some civet, but also only minimally, what you can smell very well are the spices. I'm guessing cloves, cinnamon, a little incense and vanilla.

We once had a teacher who always smelled a bit like "Christmas". She might have worn a scent like this. You could smell it when she walked down the corridors at break, with quick, brisk steps. But I'm not sure. The thought came to me as I was jogging along and answered the question myself: "YES, I want these perfumes, I need them for my peace of mind"! - Now do something about it
