Beautiful Memories Return
In 2004, when this fragrance was born, I celebrated a milestone birthday in Gran Canaria.
Even back then, I was very passionate about scents and wandered through the island's perfumeries, trying many out and also discovering Mania, which I immediately liked very much.
However, I only bought it later at home; why, I no longer remember, probably it was a decision-making problem with the vast selection on the island.
The bottle was used up back then, and then Mania vanished from my sight for a long time, as new fragrances kept coming in.
The year before last, a dear friend from the perfume community sent me a decant of Mania, and the old magic returned to me immediately.
What a beautiful scent, how could I ignore it for so long and not give it another thought?
The opening with mandarin, orange, and a hint of pepper pleases me very much, but I like the powdery heart the most, which is more floral yet still carries a fruity note.
I can't distinctly pick out the individual flowers; I wouldn't have suspected lily of the valley in it at all, but overall it's a lovely bouquet, like a bouquet of white and apricot-colored blossoms.
The base is subtly woody, and laurel and pepper add a fine touch of spiciness, so that the fragrance remains friendly and bright overall, without any unpleasant sweetness spreading.
Well, as it had to happen, I bought myself a bottle of Mania again, as I was once again so enchanted by the scent and simultaneously afraid it might soon be discontinued, which caused a slight panic in me.
All the new releases from Armani have fallen flat for me in recent years due to overwhelming sweetness, but this powdery, feminine charmer gives me such a sense of well-being that I don't want to miss it anymore, now that we have finally found each other again.

It sounds like it could be something I'd like.
