Armani Code Parfum Giorgio Armani 2022

This fragrance is a classy, powdery and woody; similar to the Prada’s L’homme as they are both soapy-iris scents. The fragrance opens with bergamot and bergamot leaf, a very fresh beginning. In the middle, a very clean and soapy powdery iris smell will shine and in the base, the scent will be much sweeter and woodier; very similar to the OG code. I honestly enjoy this fragrance, I wasn’t always a big fan of OG code and I love iris scents so all these changes are very satisfying for me. Even though it is different and much more modernised, the scent still resembles the original code’s DNA as well with it’s base notes. Performance is good, 8 hours of longevity and 2 feet projection for 1-2 hours. It’s not beastly, but compared to many other clean iris scents it’s much more potent. Season-wise it would be great in fall, winter and spring; I don’t think potent iris will be very appropriate for summer but I think it would be still wearable in summer with just a couple of sprays. Event-wise rhe scent is MADE for business, school and work in my opinion; it doesn’t have a romantical way to use in a date night. Price is expensive for what you get, but a decent discount or a cheap refill might justify the purchase. If you want a versatile iris scent that reminds you of the original code, I would recommend. If you want to get the closest version of the OG code, new EDT is smell-wise %80 similar to OG code, but EDT version is lacking in performance.
