I’ve only tried two SWY flankers but already this DNA is pretty apparent. There’s a radiating sweetness that gets complimented by a sidenote, in this case Oud. And let that just be the perfect counterpart for that immense sweetness.
The other flanker I have is the Tobacco variant and that’s quite heavy on incense, which has the tendency to choke a little bit. The Oud however is glorious. Every time a get that whiff of Oud it’s like a little voice that reminds me not to take life too seriously.
I’ve based this review on a decant because it’s not available anymore. If it was, I’d have bought this instead of Tobacco.
