Begun with SWY EDT, then the Only flanker, then intensely, Absolutely, Parfum, and now Powerfully. In addition to other flankers like Amber, Oud, Sandalwood, Spices, Tobacco, Leather and Freeze (and maybe more), plus limited edition. So what next Armani? SWY Musc? SWY Vetiver? SWY Ocean? Ultimately? Sophisticatedly? Actually? Or Seriously? What?
Don't get me wrong, it smells good, I give high score, right? But changing one or two notes then become new flanker? So I see it is now more about money milking, and in most boring way. "Hey guys, this is the new fragrance! It will not be redundant to your 5+ Stronger With You collection. It has........ cherry !!!!! Surprise!!!!!!".
I always try to give scent and performance score independent to any redundancy. But if there were worthiness or creativity aspect, I would had given lower score for that aspect.
I have a sample vial around 1.2 or 1.5 ml size of this fragrance. To my nose, the dry down is at least 80% to its Parfum, Intensely and Absolutely brothers (I have full bottle only the latter). So thanks but no thanks.
I just can't stop imagining there will be more and more teenagers wearing this SWY or it's brother flankers (and overspray!) in packed tram even in hot summer days here in my city in Germany due to this hype. I already mention about how mainstream the SWY nowadays in my city in my review of intensely flanker. It is everywhere. Like Sauvage in the US perhaps.
Personally disagree, Powerfully in the drydown has the the most prominent gourmand profile, and not only that they added that real smoky aspect which gives at en edge and a tart fruity aspect and a comforting spiciness all ot once, the best one yet
