The best SWY if you don't like cinnamon

I’m a big fan of the Stronger With You line, especially SWY Intensely, so seeing a cherry note immediately had my attention. I love cherry, and I already love the SWY DNA, so this combination felt like a no-brainer.

The first spray sold me. It’s that smooth, familiar Stronger With You base, but without the overpowering cinnamon. The cherry is refined and subtle up top, then becomes absolutely beautiful in the dry down. It’s warm, comforting, and easy to wear, exactly what this line is supposed to be.

Instant pickup. It went straight into my collection, and I’ll be rotating it with Intensely.

Flankers...

Another useless flanker. When you know that the name is more important than the juice.
Cherry is there, but it is really whatsoever, same profile of intensely and totally redundant. Usual amberwood on the drydown as half of the "winter" desiner new realeses. One just won the award for best fragrance for 2025 on fragrantica so I suppose that the tactic is working.

Don't listen to the trolls

This doesnt smell like intensely AT ALL
It doesnt even smell like SWY much
It smells very bright and cherry-like, those saying they can't smell any cherry have definitely never worn it and probably just gave it a sniff at their local store.
It is not "powerfully" at all tho, pretty normal performances
Definitely unisex

Same Structure, New Attire

Stronger With You with cherry?? That was my first thought when my good acquaintance Czechmeout pointed out the notes of the new flanker from Armani.

I have been searching for a good cherry scent for quite some time now, and all the candidates were either too overpowering or too expensive. That's why I jumped at the chance as soon as I found out that this release could be ordered unusually early here.

You can immediately tell that this fragrance is part of the Stronger With You family from the very first spray. However, there is a certain fruitiness that sneaks in, embodied by the cherry. It doesn't shout at anyone; it confidently remains in the center of the room and plays with the other notes instead of dominating them. This keeps the fragrance wonderfully balanced. This familiar, fruity yet mysterious quality makes it addictive.

It's important to know that this fragrance doesn't reinvent the wheel. Yes, in my opinion, it is the best flanker in the Stronger With You line, but if you already own another one, you won't miss much with this one.

The performance is top-notch. "Powerfully" might be a slight exaggeration, but this fragrance lasts a solid 9-10 hours with projection and, like every Stronger With You scent, draws compliments.

So, if you're looking for a winter fragrance, are getting a bit tired of vanilla and cinnamon scents, and would prefer something fruitier, you might just find your new signature scent for winter here. I can't get enough of it right now and highly recommend it.

Unfounded Skepticism - Good Scent

I am a fan of critical perspectives and also of the critical examination of flankers.
However, I am also fundamentally a fan of the Stronger with You line… and therefore my interest was still high.

The reviews were mixed, but the overall tone seemed predominantly positive to me. And I would like to join this sentiment. I understand the criticism regarding an unnecessary multitude of flankers… However, this is still warranted for example with the perfume, but not with this Powerfully.

In my opinion, the cherry note in the opening is not just a gimmick… but just right as it is, as it does not touch or damage the core DNA of Stronger with You. In my eyes, it is aptly complemented, and the whole thing is on a level with the Intensely..

I am very pleased with this new scent and can recommend it without hesitation, although not for the price of €90… however, if we move in a direction similar to the Intensely, then immediately.
