I wasn't expecting to enjoy this one as much as I did, but here I am contemplating a travel size and even a full bottle. I will be re-testing this one further down the line just to be sure of my choice.
I'd say that the mango note was the first to reach my note and bewilder me. I've had difficulties finding a lovely mango note in fragrances. It's often too synthetic, too sweet or too vague. With this one here, I got something juicy, but fresh and sweet without being too over the top. It's soon followed by a creamy, but fresh coconut note. I also start getting some florals: tropical ylang-ylang and a sweet bubblegum tuberose that has a tinge of animalic in it (if you know where to look for it, it IS very subtle). As it dries down, it becomes more of an undescript and generic tropical fruitiness scent associated with some sweet vanilla and a woody, almost powdery, musky base note.
This is most definitely a spring / summer choice, athough I might not want to wear this in sweltering heat due to its sweetness. It's definitely girly, tropical, but avoids the sunscreen territory by remaining on the sweet, fruity, playful side. Designer, yes, but there's something in it that perked me up. I'm glad I didn't get any synthetic feel to it.
