Sau..vage? Huh? Or?
Wow, what can one say here.
Info - Mid 20s, male.

A monster in performance, that much is certain. You really get a LOT of sillage here. A fragrance that radiates incredibly. Top tier in terms of longevity, it doesn’t disappear, it stays with you. Please be really careful, two sprays are more than enough! Honestly, please never more than two of these!
Now let’s talk about the scent itself - synthetic, yes. A fragrance that won’t appeal to everyone. I smelled it on a colleague and my first thought was immediately "is he wearing Sauvage?" - Nope, it’s Ambassador.
A scent that carries the Sauvage DNA within it, but plays with it. Anyone who thinks this fragrance has no resemblance to Sauvage is either a Sauvage "fanboy" who doesn’t want to accept that there are scents that are similar and better, or has never smelled Sauvage. Honestly, you can believe me on that. Sauvage is exactly this, only Sauvage is darker and a bit soapier. Here, instead of soap, there’s a sweetness. Yes, the absolute pros can certainly notice differences that are foreign to me and claim it has nothing to do with Sauvage, but I’m just the pedestrian here who is addicted to fragrances. I’m the general nose, and after Father’s Day, I can confirm that everyone briefly thought it was Sauvage, but only at first.
Yes, I find this fragrance better than Sauvage. Don't hate me. It retains the DNA, the similarity is fascinating, but gradually, especially after an hour, it gains more depth. Fruitier, sweeter, less suit, more leather coat, yet somewhat more masculine. Close to the skin sweet, woody, you can smell a hint of wood oil. Somewhat biting, but in a pleasant way. Exactly what I was missing in my collection, something aggressive, but without appearing threatening. A bit of incense, something VERY noble in the nose simply. You feel expensive, very expensive. This fragrance radiates something luxurious somehow, hard to describe. You are surrounded by this Johnny Depp DNA, just somehow in a nicer, but also stronger way, which is why you really should handle it carefully. Less Dior ashtray vibes, more towards niche character when it comes to sweet fruity synthetics.
No joke, I don’t know how some people find it cheap. This fragrance smells noble and has a niche character, it plays in a much too high league even though the price is quite low. I really recommend you at least test this fragrance, even if the reviews are somewhat critical, opinions are divided. Synthetic is actually not my thing, but after my "sweet tooth" phase, this fragrance is a total slap in the face, and it made me love pain. On the other hand, test Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privee and then try to understand why the rating is so high there. Sometimes the world turns differently than indicated on the internet. Sometimes Parfumo is extremely confusing, please smell fragrances yourself. And just look at general opinions here. There’s talk of extreme sweetness and cheapness, although the sweetness only exists closely, and not even strongly. There’s no trace of cheapness here, absolutely not, rather the opposite.

This fragrance has a power that is incredible. Still, it’s a scent I would wear under 35, not older. Over 35, the fragrance seems a bit too young, here you see the 20-30 year-olds out in the city at night. Turtleneck, subtle jewelry that looks good, was at the hairdresser yesterday, well-dressed. Clubbing less so, more freedom, someone who wants to enjoy the evening air & simply looks good while doing so.
Compliment scale: 9 out of 10. Very masculine, crowd pleaser, the better Sauvage. Haven’t met anyone who hated it, just be very careful with the dosage.

I was told it was the best-selling fragrance at D and that I should definitely try it on my skin.
I thought H/S was okay, not outstanding, but it just didn't convince me at all; I'd rather go for Sauvage, tbh.
