Gisada Titanium I Positive Surprise: Mature, Masculine, Spicy-Sweet I When the Ambassador is too "Talahon" for You
Well, one can say what one wants, and yes, Gisada has received a lot of envy and hate in the past; and from my perspective, unjustly so. At first, it was said that the Ambassador for Men was too synthetic, too sweet, a "Talahon fragrance," etc. Despite all that, the fragrance actually received quite a good reception in its environment, and the numbers speak for themselves. Yes, the scent is not entirely to my taste, but it has proven itself more than adequately.
Has Gisada now succeeded with the Titanium as well, and what is it like?
- From my point of view, the Titanium is far more solid than the Ambassador for Men and aligns more with my personal taste. Yes, it's not a fragrance that I must have in my collection, but it is truly special, especially since it really combines several successful recipes: sweet, spicy, - but somehow also fresh at the beginning, and then over time, it becomes powdery.
- At the start, the fragrance is really spicy and slightly bitter; the cardamom comes through with a good sweet-bitter spiciness, while something slightly balsamic is subtly present, probably artemisia and sage.
- Very soon, a lightly sweet-woody accord comes in with cinnamon and the woods, before it transitions into a powdery, sweet drydown, which still carries that balsamic note. Really special!
- The longevity is solid, in the upper third, and for the first few hours, the fragrance projects really strongly; my brother wore this on a summer evening, and I can only say, it really packed a punch in the first hours.
In summary, a truly solid fragrance from the Swiss brand Gisada, and with this scent, the brand has nothing to hide. It is not an olfactory masterpiece, but a mass-appealing, special fragrance that could also please niche lovers.

Perceptions can be so different. I don't find the Ambassador sweet at all, and I think the Titanium is very overwhelmingly synthetic sweet-vanilla.
