A package has arrived again!
Yes, yes, I know, I already have so many fragrances, what do I need with ANOTHER ONE ;-)
But this one, I mean this one, I can't describe it, this one hit me right in the heart. YET AGAIN a fragrance that is indescribably beautiful.
At first, I didn't even want it because I thought, oh dear walnut, what could that possibly be. This put me off a bit, because anyone who has ever bought walnuts with the shell knows that it can give a rather "different" scent experience.
But no, you can't smell that. For me, it’s primarily honeysuckle, rose, tuberose, and cedar that come through. Although I must say, at first I thought there were also lily of the valley in it, because when the package arrived, I was a bit rushed, had to get to an appointment urgently, so I just quickly spritzed some on my décolletage, out the door and into the car and off.
When I got to the appointment, I kept thinking who or what smells so wonderful like lily of the valley? It didn't even occur to me that it could be me, because I had actually sprayed Paris by Balenciaga on for this appointment, and there are no lily of the valley in that.
Only now back home could I finally dedicate myself to the fragrance.
It is a delight to smell this perfume; it is a noble, finely floral, full-bodied, soft, oriental, irresistible scent cloud that surrounds me, and the interplay of the woody notes (which you can only sense) with the vanilla, which peacefully lays over everything, really makes you lean back comfortably and think, nothing bad can happen, I’m wearing Organza.
Although the name doesn’t quite fit, because Organza is a delicately fragrant fabric, this perfume is quite a striking fellow, but not overwhelmingly loud, rather as described above, cozy, warm, soft, and sensual.
So where do I go now, so that EVERYONE can smell it? Because - I just have to say:
Oohhh, the pure perfume!! :)
That must have been wonderful!

An exceptionally beautiful scent, even in the EDP version back then.
Well, you’re quite the risk-taker! Spraying on a new scent right before a meeting. You can’t imagine how wide my eyes can get. What a joy that you keep discovering new old treasures!
What an engaging comment! I guess that's what you call "lily of the valley seduction" or spring is just around the corner-when you catch a whiff of lily of the valley where there aren't any (or where there shouldn't be?). :-) I also love the scent of lily of the valley-which, by the way, is toxic! So BE CAREFUL with pets if you have lily of the valley in your garden-and I have the classic scent from ALPA with lily of the valley. Just to sniff it every now and then…
You always have great stuff on hand! And you describe it so beautifully and enticingly. I only know men's fragrances from Givenchy so far, but this one sounds amazing!
I find it charming that you’re always so enthusiastic about trying new fragrances. I think that’s really good for you! I make it harder for myself and don’t even try many things! Very nice, cheerful post!
This is my mom's scent. Every time I smell the bottle now, I see her in front of me, when she was still healthy, always beautifully put together and wearing perfume. I will wear it later, in a hopefully still somewhat distant future, when I need to feel her close.
