What can I say? A fragrance that seems to divide the community ... which is good, because XR has stood for individuality since 1995! :-) I only discovered it for myself later, around 2005. And yes: I can imagine that it might rub some men the wrong way, but I would definitely be able to pick it out from a bunch of EDTs.

As so often, I can't manage to break the scent down into its individual components, but in its entirety, XR impresses with an animalistic fruitiness and floral masculinity (if such a thing even exists). I don't know any other perfume product that smells even remotely like this and yet has a bit of everything: freshness, spiciness, an exorbitant sillage, and that special something that you just have to like, and yet is quite suitable for everyday wear!

However: After a while, I notice a certain mustiness setting in. It never bothered me before, but you do develop your nose over time! ;-) Unfortunately, I really don't like that (anymore) and it somehow reminds me of flower water!
