Here, gentle chaos unfolds
in the amber-warm wooden tea room
where irises bloom
only the mandarin gets a bit fiery as the base.

Sounds nice; I wouldn’t mind a burst of mandarin! :)

I wonder if irises would fit in there for me 🤔

It also smells like orange blossoms. I'm not sure if it suits you.

Mandarin as a base is quite unusual; they must have twisted something (too much)?

It really stands out at the end. I can smell it from the very beginning.

I would back the mandarin, maybe with karate or something 😉

It kind of has a slightly pitched vibe at the end.

☺️Great statement - I could even live with the vibrant mandarin....

Oh, what a pity! If you hadn't mentioned the citrus note, I might have been really interested in it.

I suspect that the one with the mandarin might be a bit too over-the-top as well.

Still sounds pretty good. Lyn is definitely a reference.

this fiery mandarin doesn't belong in a tea room ;)

I feel the same way. The citrus can be a bit too strong for me, especially with new releases. However, this one is still nice.

This is the one of the three new Givenchys that I didn't test through Sharing. I'm not completely dissatisfied with it, as it seems I haven't missed anything revolutionary. 😅

It's not revolutionary new. But it's really well done.

It's not bad. It almost made me think of compositions by Lyn Harris. That gentle, woody amber warmth, with flowers so delicately touched. Really beautiful. But the citrus overall is a bit too much for me, and it takes away the magic from the scent. Thanks to @TacoBelle for sharing and the opportunity to test it.
