Papilionidae glossieridae
You, but with bows in its hair and glitter in its lashes. A fluttery, lacy peachy-pear. Fleur feels like the cursive version of its progenitor – just that bit airier and more whimsical. The salt is a clever touch and seems to lend a “sparkle” accord, if you will. My favourite so far of the Glossier suite. If Glossier’s ambroxan plays well with your skin/nose, I bet Fleur would be a damn safe blind buy. However like all the other Yous, it goes translucent on my skin within an hour or two, and while it’s my favourite of the bunch it’s not all * that * different. Still an ambrox first, and floral a distant second.
Mental Snapshot: A glossy swallowtail, flitting about a wildflower meadow. She’s all glitter and frills, with curlicued antennae and iridescent periwinkle scales. Every flick of her wings glitters phosphor about the blossoms.
tl;dr: butterfly scales
