Corps & Âmes Godet 2017

I sit on the balcony and enjoy the cool night air. On a small table, a candlelight provides gentle brightness. From the nearby forest, rugged scents waft over. In the gardens all around, woody-balsamic aromas of trees and bark unfold. Where watering has taken place, a warm, earthy scent develops, floating like a fine veil over everything.
I watch the gentle flicker of the candle, which lets its light flow softly through the reddish-brown glass of the lamp. And plays with the shadows of the green leaves within. The beautiful fragrance and the tranquility that this "arrangement" radiates make me calm and grateful, allowing the burdens of everyday life to fade into the background. And the ability to "dig deep" from within, letting the soul dangle. A scent, deep and distinctive, rugged yet soft and close.
