Who likes "Orient Extravagant"?

...should take a sniff here! The French fragrance house "Grés", which was thought to be dead, is back in the Middle East - and not only there. Not least thanks to its fantastic "Les Signes" series.
This is where French perfumery meets oriental perfumery. And that can smell very interesting and extravagant. When raspberry meets black saffron, it can be quite exotic. The fresh bergamot is the link. And THAT was just the so-called top note.
Roses gradually approach, powdery iris grabs onto the top and powdery fragrance spreads underneath. In latent lurking position: woods!
However, they take a while to appear, but when they do, they come in a trio! Cedar, amber and birch have been combined here, the latter as a fine "leather" scent that adds a sophisticated touch.
At the very end, there is an extra aromatic Arabica coffee. It "cheats" discreetly but clearly recognizable under all the notes and that is exactly what gives the final touch of extravagance.
The composition lingers for a very long time without being overpowering or even penetrating. And changes with good, pleasant radiance in itself.
Here you get a great fragrance, even with a smaller wallet!

An oriental raspberry and then a rose... I don't think that's my thing ;-)
