Overwhelming….
My fragrance journey through Gritti Parfums continues. I have tested quite a few now and unfortunately only hit the jackpot with "Beyond The Wall | Gritti," which is great and was purchased immediately; all the others had some kind of disturbing overwhelming note for my nose. Unfortunately, unfortunately, because I love the whole packaging, the beautiful noble bottles, etc..
Now it was Anima's turn and, well, here too there is an extremely disturbing note for my nose that unfortunately causes me slight nausea️. The scent starts with a very strange mix of overripe pineapple, like a pineapple smells when it has turned brown on the inside, bergamot, and a very, very fleshy jasmine that makes the fragrance feel very overwhelming. The remaining notes in the pyramid are completely drowned out and barely perceptible. Unfortunately, not much else happens, no story, no good or interesting development.
Man, I would have loved to like this one, and I would have really liked to have another scent from the Gritti line on my shelf next to my "Beyond The Wall | Gritti," but unfortunately, I absolutely do not like Anima..
