Come Evening..
Come, come evening, come night,
come, take my hand.
Look into the sky, my life!
This splendor, stars ignited like diamonds!
Silken shine, the Milky Way dances,
clear is the sky, so radiant, so pure.
I want to be with you, forever and here.
To live your beauty, oh could it be...
Sheem-el-Nessim
I am at a loss for words and reverence, yes longing grips me.
I felt the grandeur, a scent that seduces so infinitely.
Warm, soft, beautiful woman, I know exactly.
I feel so surrendered, questionlessly waiting for redemption......
Holding my mother's hand, whose beauty left me in
questioning awe as a girl, I see myself....
So now it gets difficult!
The "similarity" with L'Heure Bleue is there and undeniable!
But Sheem-el-Nessim is deeper, much, much deeper and more feminine.
A significantly denser floral bouquet greets me.
Where L'Heure Bleue at times makes one think of "straight" and "pantsuit,"
Sheem is a dark flowing satin dress.
L'Heure Bleue is cooler, woodier, and harsher, simply more masculine.
I smell jasmine, ylang-ylang, heliotrope, delicately powdery and soft.
This spiciness that L'Heure Bleue presents is completely missing.
Nothing with coriander, anise, or clove :-)
Much more irisy, much warmer, I already sense patchouli from the base,
where I then find similarities with Jicky and Shalimar Initial and oh yes, simply
just smooth and soft :-)
The bergamot from the top note lasts throughout the entire development, very fine.
Longevity is truly unique, very decent :D:D!!!
Sillage, well very delicate, more of a skin scent!
The English perfume dynasty Grossmith has reissued three of their scents
that were created between 1888 and 1906 in 1995
and according to their own statements, not reformulated!?
So I will definitely treat myself to Sheem-el-Nessim for my birthday.
Saving diligently until July, 50 ml for 180 euros, but the scent is worth it to me!!!
Dear Medusa, a big thank you for this magnificent experience…
Thanks also to Ergoproxy and Seymour, who got our game of telephone started :D:D:D
The remaining drop continues its journey;-)
Oh yes, I tested L'Heure Bleue in a direct comparison,
so left wrist Guerlain, right Grossmith…
