...rumor has it that the fragrance has been discontinued and that there are only remaining bottles on the market. So better be quick ;)
As the Gucci Intense Oud was my very first fragrance, I have a very personal connection to this scent. In my opinion, it is also the "best" or my "all time favorite" fragrance. This fragrance is a niche for me! With the small number of fragrance notes, this fragrance has an incredible depth to it.
The fragrance starts immediately and is very potent and only knows one thing in the first few minutes: "Forward".
But by no means disoriented or confused, but rather elegant/noble and mature. In other words, someone who has a lot of experience and knows where he wants to go, but never has to say it. The overripe berry and the rose balance the oud note perfectly.
The three notes are so perfectly balanced that none of them will ever be distracting or too much. As others have already mentioned, the fragrance has a certain dirty, slightly alcoholic note, which is due to the ripe berries.
In the drydown, it becomes softer, but still remains deep and potent.
I have actually received the most compliments for this fragrance and that with 2-4 sprays (depending on the occasion).
Longevity and sillage are also above average.
