My first comment here, because I find it a shame that no one has commented on it yet. After all, it is so wonderful! My trusted perfumer recommended Teazzurra and gave me a sample. First impression: Unusually citrusy and fresh for me, as I usually prefer gourmand, sweet scents like L'instant Magique, une petite robe noir, or even Bonbon by Viktor & Rolf. But I wanted to try something more mature and new... Still, I was extremely skeptical for the first half hour and feared that the scent might develop aquatic or even bitter notes.
Far from it: It takes quite a while to fully develop. During this time, the citrus notes become sweet and soft rather than bitter, and it finishes with a distinct (but not overpowering) vanilla note. For me, after about 2 hours, it smells like delicious, sweet grapefruit sorbet... There is little left of the lemon, but the tea still keeps it fresh and suitable for summer. It makes me crave summer right now on these first warmer days, lush green meadows, blooming trees, summer dresses, ice cream, and everything that comes with it.
All in all, I have fallen in love and will probably have to buy it - although I can only partially relate to the scents listed under "...often liked as well," four of which I find downright terrible and outdated (the two from Chanel, the Shalimar, and the Hermès). This scent here is modern and, in my opinion, perfect for my age (28): Elegant yet not too ladylike, cheeky and slightly sweet without being sugary-sticky, which I would associate with the teenage category. It has a slight resemblance to CK into u for her in my nose ;) but feels much more high-quality and special.
The longevity is good, slightly above average at about 8-9 hours on my skin (with just 4 sprays in the morning).
Please forgive the somewhat unprofessional description, which is based more on my subjective impression. I still hope that one or another dares to try this scent and falls in love just as unexpectedly as I did.
Same here as with Nitschewo: briefly wonderfully citrusy, then it turns musty-strange and I have to wash it off. Too bad, I usually like many of the Allegoria scents.
The first test spray today started off quite promising: lemony-fresh, green tea... but then, after about 30 seconds, a strange musty-heavy scent joined in that just lingers on. Like old bread, what a shame... I would have liked to enjoy it.
After your description, I'm actually looking forward to the first encounter with this scent. I was very skeptical until now. The section "..often liked by:" has confused me many times as well. ;-)
Well written, I could like it too. I also find the bottle and the color beautiful... sweet citrus scents fit my taste as well... and maybe summer will come... someday...
