Do you know Chamade...

Tell me,...do you know Chamade?
She is in her early 30s, maybe even older.
I often saw her on Sundays, at noon,...sitting there.
There under the lilac, in the little café!
Hyacinths and roses bloom wildly there.
She loves to wear dresses with ribbons. They flutter in the wind.
A book in her hand and a gaze full of longing.
Tell me, do you know Chamade...

If Jicky was really the mother of Shalimar.
Yes, then Chamade was Shalimar's cousin.
More elegant and already more grown-up.
I see her as blonde, tall, so... Katharine Hepburn beautiful.
She is like an older cousin one has a crush on,
when one is still too young for love.

Describing Chamade is infinitely difficult for me.
The composition is so complex for me.
If it were music...it would be Edvard Grieg.
He takes my breath away, moves me to tears with longing.
You stand in a sea of flowers, from nothing to now!!!
Hyacinth, lilac, roses...I also smell dandelion.
Caught in a lake of vanilla and amber.
Tolu...so beautifully soft...
The scent is full of longing and wonderfully beautiful..

Far, far ahead of its time...
Annick Goutal connects a bit with Petit and Ce soir.
For me, however, there is no comparison!

I bow before Chamade...

Yes, in music terms, it would be Grieg. Compliment, I think you truly understood the essence of the scent. Wow.

...I smelled that ages ago, and after your comment (like a romance novel), I absolutely have to revisit and deepen that experience: I can already hear Solveig's song...

I feel so nostalgic after reading your comment about Chamade (just like the fragrance itself). You captured the essence of Chamade perfectly. Thank you for that!!

Oh, what a lovely comment!! I think it's beautiful too, but right now I don't feel quite ready for it. Maybe in 1-4 years, but it's a great scent and definitely worth trying....
