Innocent Innocence with Flowers in Her Hair

A while ago, I bought this fragrance on a whim, without any major tests beforehand, simply out of the excitement of the first impression. L’Instant d’un Eté immediately captivated me, soft-fresh-floral and cozy-powdery at the same time. It wraps me in a soft cocoon, keeping the world outside.

L’Instant d’un Eté is elegantly understated yet distinctly noticeable, with just enough sweetness to still appeal to me. A wonderfully rounded, gentle, light, and infinitely innocent summer scent without a freshness overload and heavy floral abundance. None of the flowers assert themselves presumptuously; here I experience floral magic that reminds me of fluffy, delicate mimosa blossoms. No corners, no edges that could be disturbing, absolutely nothing that desperately seeks attention - in a word: perfect.

A truly wonderful fragrance - yes, I still like it, but I hardly ever use it. I envision a young girl before me, a fragile, slender beauty with fair, delicate skin, radiant blue eyes, in a fluttering, sheer summer dress adorned with colorful flowers on a white background, and a few blossoms and ribbons in her blonde hair. She laughs and dances, she is innocent and so perfectly beautiful that she draws all eyes to her. If I were to wear L’Instant anywhere other than at home on the couch in the evening, I would feel so overdressed…
But it is really, really beautiful!

PS: L’Instant and L’Instant Magic, on the other hand, have zero attraction for me.

Hi there, you're right Medusa - but I probably wouldn't have worn it even 30 years ago.
