L'Instant de Guerlain L'Instant d'un Été Guerlain 2006

When I wished for L'Instant Magic from my mom for my graduation this year, she also brought a paper test strip of L'Instant d'un Ete, as she said the saleswoman had recommended this scent instead. The whole paper bag from the turquoise one smelled of it. Since then, I haven't been able to get this variant of L'Instant out of my head. There are numerous variants that aren't even listed on Parfumo yet, such as Secret Touch or d'un baiser, etc.
As a fan of L'Instant and L'Instant Magic, I want to get to know them all, but the search for them isn't exactly easy.
I stumbled upon L'Instant d'un Ete on eBay by chance because it had the wrong item name. I, of course, jumped at the chance immediately, as such an opportunity is extremely rare.
L'Instant d'un Ete is somewhat of a cross between the clear and citrusy regular L'Instant and the cozy, powdery, slightly sweet L'Instant Magic.
But something is different in this scent that the other two don't have. It's the gentle baby base. The scent is powdery in the base but not adult-powdery, rather baby-like powdery. You have to wait for this moment, and during a quick perfume test, it would probably go unnoticed, as at first the scent is very summery fresh and citrusy, and one wouldn't suspect such a base. It is precisely this baby powder that represents the drydown, which simply lasts and lasts and lasts. Even days later, it can still be perceived. If you concentrate on it, this baby powder is, of course, still slightly citrusy. It's a very cute scent that is truly suitable for all ages, but particularly might appeal to young girls whom you want to do something good for and not cloud their noses with drugstore and celebrity scents. For this group, it's a wonderful introduction to the world of good fragrances. Nothing here smells like grandma or an adult woman. I imagine a young woman in a summer dress, with long, beautiful hair. She doesn't sweat in the heat but rather smells graceful.
Whether production has actually been discontinued, I don't know. After all, the scent was obviously still available this summer at the turquoise one.
I simply really, really like the scent. I'm already looking forward to summer, but the powderiness makes it suitable for all year round. The "Ete" in the name may draw attention to the striking citrusy opening. Great, modern scent from Guerlain!
