Under the Wind

When you leave, I turn around..
wave goodbye and hope you don’t see it!!!
When I’m alone and think of you..
looking through tears, I love you!
When what I live hurts me,
I hope for an end.
I must be strong, I have to let you go...
only here and only now,
for you, for me, for us….

A bow of life, beginning, end,
everything else, I do not see.
Further … I must
The namesake for “Sous Le Vent” are the "Society Islands". A group of islands belonging to French Polynesia, specifically the windward side (islands under the wind, Îles sous le Vent) Bora Bora is one of them..
Among the windward islands, Îles du Vent, is Tahiti, for example.

How do I start, how do I stop?
With Anthony & The Johnsons, "Bird Gerhl" I start…
Bird Girls can fly…

Bergamot? Yes and no. More like huge lemons,
sun-ripened, juicy, a cut and immediately the juice
runs through your fingers. You catch it, smell
memory, lick longing from your fingers.
You calm yourself with a bouquet of lavender that takes you warmly into its arms!
Rarely have I had such wonderfully spicy lavender in my nose.
Rosemary, tarragon are easy to remember and
with clove and jasmine, they let a slight
morbidity of transience be felt.
In the moment after the first spray, a beautiful citrus spiciness
whirls into my nose, simply unique. For my taste, the top note ends way too quickly.
I love this herb explosion:).
Sous le Vent is for me the most beautiful lavender scent.
Deep melancholy, natural clarity, touching, innocent.
A chypre, shining in bright golden moss.
Although not listed, the blonde moss is surely present.
Lavender runs through the scent from beginning to end and I am almost inclined
to place Sous in the fougère drawer. Lavender comes and goes,
just as if the wind gently blows, right down to the base, which hints at a little patchouli and vetiver.
Just as the beginning, so also the end. Juicy lemons, a splash of bitter life, longing for
more:-)

The scent switches permanently between melancholy and euphoria.
It promises continuously and you will play along until the bottle is empty,
then you need a new one and yet are not redeemed, or have come close to solving the riddle.

“Sous Le Vent” is very similar to “Eau de Guerlain” at first, over a stretch I smell so much the same, a wonderful summer alternative.
For both genders, leaning male for my taste…
Longevity really good, but not forever:)

Dear Jella, flyer, thank you for this beautiful breath of wind!
Fly, Bird Girl…

That sounds addictive... the longing grabs the reader and carries them to the islands under the wind... an Avalon without apples, with different spices and traditions-only the longing remains the same and connects all cultures under the same wind.

Another special treat. I'm talking about your poem, not the scent. I just hope you're not really sad!

Wonderfully described. And now I know why I don't get along with this scent. Lavender. Shudder. Still: Lavender trophy.
