Great description, but I think I'll pass on this classic.

Actually, I didn't get along with the extrait very well, so I gave it away. But I can enjoy the EDP.

I'm skeptical about the soap.

I like the bottle. I don't necessarily need the scent.

A scent that will definitely appeal to some women.

Actually, I haven't consciously tested it yet.

The extrait still smells the best. Unfortunately, the EDT was poorly reformulated. Though, I should probably test the current version again. The vintage was a poem.

Too much vanilla can get boring quickly, but Guerlain usually does it well...

Here, the vanilla in the base is too strongly combined with citrusy powdery notes for my taste. It only becomes more pleasant much later in the drydown. @HerrPierre

The perfume is more pleasant to me than the EdP (Vintage); the EdP tends to be sweeter.

This type of powder and then Galbanum... I don't know it yet, but I'm sure I'll like it. And the bottle must look great too!

Thanks to Sapho. Soapy aldehydes, citrus, and herb-cool flowers (rose, hyacinth) on equally herbaceous galbanum with a hint of green spice (clove), before mainly vanilla with citrus releases a dazzling powder that becomes a bit too dominant for me personally. Still, it's definitely a well-crafted vintage scent.
