Neither fish nor flesh.

Good day.

Here, now, the truly true reality of Cuir Beluga, because I promised that somewhere.

Leather & vanilla can be smelled if one wants to, but one can also smell chocolate patchouli if one knows how, and just knows better.

And all of this is quite nice and pleasing, and it is well received in winter anyway, by everyone, as we know, and there is no need for extensive market research, because everyone simply likes fries. (No one believes your undercomment anyway)

Fish & meat are not up for debate here, Kur Belmondo is a side dish fragrance.
(As we, among us perfumers, say)
"Side dishes" are fragrance notes that do not play a prominent role. They are small, inconspicuous, and delicate, but always essential. They are sometimes the crispy, sweet-salty, but often the viscous, steaming mirror of all underlying aromas that are inconceivable to think away from the entirety of the work, if you are thinking what I am thinking.

And without these, it simply doesn't work. Never.
What would a fish be without bones? No, wait. Without lemon! Exactly! That would be like Snow White without a coffin, the brave little tailor without marbles, or the Pied Piper without an umbrella, charm, and egg salad.

Best regards.

But it's sitting on the washing machine and vibrating so nicely.

I have to agree with @Libelle11... I don't understand the review. Honestly, the average person usually can't tell what's actually in the fragrances; they know the ingredients because there are scent descriptions everywhere. It mostly comes down to... like it or not. Who really cares about having a refined knowledge of the ingredients and whether they can smell and recognize them?

Oh yes, you understood the review! FrauHolle just added a bit of humor to the perfume.
;-) Best regards!

Hmm, if I didn't know better, I would think this review suggests it's generic, cheap, tacky, at a cafeteria level. The scent was somehow torn apart by the wording. And yet, a 10-point rating? For me, Cuire Beluga is very exceptional.

Read with amused interest.
... and now the Kur Belmondo is back on my wishlist.

Sorry, I don't understand the point of this review. I love CV; it has an unmatched vanilla note wrapped in almond and soft leather.

The most important accompaniment, the schnapps, of course went unmentioned again! No little water, which one might suspect with that name, but golden rum! Or whiskey.

I found it nice but not particularly special. No, wait, that leather note in the perfume always annoys me. Even with Guerlinade, so vanilla with extras.

I always thought Cuir Beluga was Bulgarian or some Western Russian dialect meaning 'Deceptive Leather.'
Now I know better. Thanks!

I'm really relieved that Kur Belmondo does NOT smell like meat or fish. I'm not into food scents.
And I also just remembered that I don't like egg salad.

After reading the latest Belmondo review (down there), I dressed completely in beige... and now you say fries would have done the trick? Or egg salad?..... I hate beige!

The scent unfortunately didn't convince me that much. But I’ll gladly take the egg salad. From my own chickens, of course ;)
