My love, oh no, not quite - Bouquet in a beautiful bottle
I admit it, the bottle is to blame for me even picking this up. But it really is stylish and entices with its rose gold-creamy outfit and the promising name with floral femininity - at least that was my impression upon first contact.
Floral hits the mark perfectly. Interestingly, despite the abundant selection in the heart note, I only smell Freesia and Magnolia and - even though it's not listed - Rose!
I search in vain for Cypress and Plum. The Quince or Pear in the top note is distinctly present, while the Lemon/Bergamot is non-existent on my skin. The base is musky and iris-heavy, the woods don't come through for me (it's a shame, that would have given the fragrance a bit more character; as it stands, it remains very floral and feminine - but not sweet!).
The longevity is fine for me; after 4-5 hours, I can still smell it well close to the skin, and it holds up very well on clothing. For high summer, it would be too much rose for me, but especially now in spring, I find it very beautiful.
As always, I award extra points because it comes in a 30ml bottle, a size I find ideal for getting to know a fragrance.
Certainly not a must-have in the wardrobe, but anyone who generally likes floral-rosy scents (without being a sugar bomb) can give this one a chance.
