Bohemians of the occupied houses
I drown in your felty shag, the scent of Indian incense sticks, champaka blossoms and sandalwoods, the heavy swaths in paisley patterns on the silk sheets in front of the blind windows, the buzzing sounds from tape recorders, the songs of Ton Steine Scherben. When the night is at its deepest, our eyes close and the mists settle like opium bittersweet to us in the clothes that still carry the scent of Patchouly, earthy and tart and dark green like the mattress on the wooden floorboard. Where we dreamed ourselves a present. That was another time.

Gypsy Spirit Witch from Aberystwyth, Wales, sells all sorts of handmade devotional items from the realm of magic and sorcery. Their fragrances are made from a skin-friendly base of almond oil and grapeseed oil. Also used are exclusively pure perfume oils, essential oils and absolues.
"Bohemian Boudouir" combines all the smells that I associate with India stores, the squats of my youth, the alternative scene. Dominant throughout is the Nag Champa, the combination of Champaca flowers and sandalwood, which here comes across wonderfully incense-like, not too sweet, rather floral-woody-smoky and which gets more darkness and depth from bittersweet opium and is supported in the base by woody-earthy, rather tart, liqueur-like Patchouly. At best, the musk acts as a somewhat smoothing veil of mist, but largely holds back. The fragrance put me for the duration of a long autumn night in the clearly to moderate projecting smells of a room in the occupied house.
