It really seems to be some kind of mania today to immediately release a flanker for every fragrance that hits the market and finds even a little resonance, and then another flanker, and another, and then the yearly versions, and then...
So it is with Jesus del Pozo and his Halloween. Leaving aside the fact that neither the original scent nor any of the flankers really remind one of Halloween, I always think a bit of fire hydrants when I see the bottles...
Even though the shape of the latest bottle is identical to its predecessors, I find this one surprisingly beautiful. On the one hand due to the matte surface, and on the other hand because of the violet-blue fabric rose with ribbons. It's astonishing how such a small accessory can completely change a bottle. But my female counterparts surely know this from their daily makeup routine ;-))
As for the scent: Halloween Fleur is exactly what it promises; a floral, sweet, powdery, and bright fragrance, perfect for girls! The construction of these scents like Escada, D&G, but also Pacha and indeed Halloween is quite similar and therefore quite interchangeable. Not that they smell the same, but they go in the same direction; they mainly appeal to a young audience.
Halloween Fleur smells of violets, with lily of the valley, lilac, and a bit of rose, all sweetened and powdered in a fine, lemonade-like way.
Cashmeran? Yes, amber and vanilla, no! Musk? If so, then very sparingly dosed.
I bought it as a Christmas gift for a lovely young mom - of course, I was also curious about the scent. For me, it’s nothing, but it will suit the young mom perfectly!

Addendum January 2014: the young mom is thrilled with the scent and wears it very happily and often.
