I have been waiting for years to test this and when finally trying it, I must admit I'm not the least disappointed. HM may have been introduced in '98, but smells very contemporary. Most prominent notes are vanilla and tonka spiced with lavender and floral chocolate which makes it slightly gourmand - maybe even something as rare as a gourmand for summer evenings, but as long as you don't use it in a setting that is too hot it should be no problem. I also do get a slight resemblance to the flowery sweetness of Animale Animale for Men as well, it actually reminds me of an ice cream sundae with vanilla, chocolate and all.
