Free Space Harley-Davidson 2000 Eau de Toilette
No Denim & No Leather
A fragrance from Harley Davidson? How is that supposed to work? Well, there are scents from other vehicle manufacturers too, but Harleys are not just the most notorious motorcycles but above all a way of life!
And I believe that the fragrance composition was more oriented towards the attitude towards Harley rather than in a material sense. But what is that attitude?
The typical Harley biker listens to Running Wild, wears jeans and a vest, and (usually) has a full beard, is adorned with nebulous tattoos up to his neck, and goes to laugh in the basement? How can you capture something like that in a fragrance? Is it then also so animalistic, leathery, smoky, terribly loud, and dark? Not at all, that was Free Space!
It was much more about conveying the feeling that biking gives: the sensation of the fresh wind in your hair and the absolutely carefree feeling of limitless freedom!
And I found exactly that in the beautiful, ocean-blue bottle with the pseudo-chromed cap: boundless freshness and this carefree "light-footedness."
At the time I wore it, I was only 13/14 years old, and back then the world was still carefree for me. I loved wearing it and could then start my sunny summer vacation day completely worry-free. Free Space was always a reliable constant, it always felt positive and accompanied me for several hours. Moreover, it was my first EdT! Thanks to it, I have so many beautiful memories of that long-gone summer...
It is truly a shame that the entire Harley line seems to have been discontinued without hesitation, although overpriced leftovers are still available.

I also received this as my first EdT during my teenage years! It really stuck with me. And where do I smell it again right now?? In a sample of Kiton - Men. Time to try it out!
