That it could work out between us? I would never have believed it back then, when you stood in front of me at the university for the first time. I was still seeing someone and you weren't really my type. But there was sympathy. And trust. Right from the start.
We often celebrated together. Had a lot of fun and pleasure. And when I was sad, the tears were allowed to flow. Quite naturally. Suddenly there was something more. So unexpected. And it felt so damn right. And suddenly you had a new scent that totally enchanted me.
It was warm, also a little sweet and wonderfully colored by green tones. But at the same time with a very classic background. I remember spicy tobacco notes paired with a subtle resinousness. Myrrh perhaps? With green notes as well of moss and herbs. There was also something slightly bitter. Was that oakmoss or maybe labdanum I was sniffing? There could have been a bit of absinthe at play here as well. In the base, the scent became sweeter with a delicate vanilla touch. At the same time, there was a subtle hint of leather that joined the tobacco. Admittedly, there was also a bit of soap like in the classics, but not in such a way that it could have bothered me. So beautiful! How gladly I snuggled up to you and enjoyed this wonderful scent as well.
It's a pity that there is no more detailed information about the fragrance notes, but this superficially green fragrance with aromas of tobacco and leather on a woody-vanilla and subtly soapy base captured my heart just as much as you did. Glad to have a bottle of this again. Not only to revel in the past.
With a lot of tobacco scents today, I wish they had a little more edge, like this one had back then. There was still a lot of the great classics in it, although the fragrance was also very modern in conception for the nineties. For me personally the most beautiful of the series. You liked them all. Unfortunately, most fragrances around this theme today are just very sweet and somewhat monotonous.
