That something could happen between us? I would have never believed it back then when you stood in front of me for the first time at university. I was still in a relationship, and you weren't really my type. But there was sympathy. And trust. From the very beginning.
We often celebrated together. Had a lot of fun and enjoyment. And when I was sad, I could let the tears flow. Quite naturally. Suddenly, there was more. So unexpectedly. And it felt damn right. And all of a sudden, you had a new fragrance that completely enchanted me.
It was warm, a bit sweet, and wonderfully colored by green tones. Yet it had a very classic background. I remember spicy tobacco notes, paired with a fine resinous quality. Perhaps myrrh? With green notes also from moss and herbs. There was also something slightly bitter. Was that oakmoss or perhaps labdanum that I caught a whiff of? A bit of absinthe could have been in play here too. In the base, the fragrance became sweeter with a delicate vanilla touch. At the same time, a subtle hint of leather emerged, joining the tobacco. Of course, there was also a bit of soapiness like in the classics, but not in a way that could have bothered me. So beautiful! How I loved to snuggle up to you and enjoy that wonderful scent.
It's a pity that there are no more detailed information about the fragrance notes, but this predominantly green scent with aromas of tobacco and leather on a woody-vanilla and subtly soapy base has captured my heart just like you did. It's nice that we own a bottle of it again. Not just to indulge in the past.
With many tobacco fragrances today, I wish they had a bit more edge, just like this one did back then. It still had a lot of the great classics in it, even though the scent was very modern for the nineties. For me personally, the most beautiful of the series. You liked them all. Unfortunately, most fragrances around this theme today are just very sweet and somewhat monotonous.
Even though this little treasure was available in the drugstore back then. You had taste when it came to fragrances. Even back then. I have to give you that. I didn't have to teach you anything.

This fragrance has passed me by, and yes, many fragrances have faded over time, but you can still like them. Even today, there are more than enough scents in a similar style, if not even more.
Beautiful comment! Memory trophy ;-)
A wonderful declaration of love and a really nice, warm-spicy scent.
