Tarragon crush
This one falls in line with Heeley's style : gentlemen's freshies, with a vetiver backbone.
The opening is juicy and tart, and very soon the pomelo plays second fiddle to the tarragon : there is a green streak in this perfume that gets you from anis-sey tarragon to mild vetiver.
The greenness is dipped in juice, could be pomelo, could be rhubarb. My point is, except for the first opening minutes, this is not a citrus.
I do love an anis note, so I'll keep wearing my sample and edit if I finally find the missing orange blossom...
