Between summer & autumn
Harvest time
Days as overripe as fruits
Memories stored in a tobacco pouch
Dark yellow flows into amber hues *

A wonderful season with very lovely scents. I tested the fragrance once, but I can hardly remember it.

It's nice, but it just didn't click for me. It does so many things right...

The notes make me curious... I usually really like chamomile.

I just had a good laugh when I read "dirty memories" 😂
But it seems like a lovely scent after all 🙂

Feel free to stash away any naughty memories you have. The tobacco pouch is big. ;)

Aside from the overripe fruits (🧟‍♀️🧟‍♀️🧟‍♀️), it doesn't sound too bad at all!

They're more like a thick jam. Too sweet for me, but as a couch scent - why not?! ;)

You described the mood wonderfully; it's also my favorite time of year. Overripe fruits fit well with the vibe, but on the skin, they can come off a bit mushy and fermented... I'd rather avoid that.

I find it less mushy or fermented, more like a thick jam. I like it, but I wouldn't want to wear it as a scent.

Apart from the fruits, it sounds very much like my taste. I love the vibe you describe so beautifully, and hay is definitely a favorite of mine...

Lughnasadh!! Sounds so beautiful. Maybe it compensates for the linearity with this vibe.

I thought you just randomly pressed keys on the keyboard. But a Google search for "Lughnasadh" actually yielded some interesting results. ;)

*Mümmmpfschmatz*...I saved the last apricot for myself, I didn't have breakfast! 😇
I feel quite similar to you. It creates a lovely atmosphere that I enjoy stepping into without wanting to stay there permanently.

Then that one apricot counts all the more... ;) You're such a late summer child, aren't you?! I couldn't help but think of "First Cut," although I find "First Cut" incomparably more beautiful.

I love the time when all the meadows and fields are mowed; it announces the most magical time of the year for me ✨

I've experienced mood scents or aromatherapy with many fragrances too, like the Bravanariz. I'm curious to see how this one turns out; it still sounds good!

I don't think I've worn Bravanariz outside of my own four walls, so I totally agree with you. :)

They're more like a jam consistency here. Fits the concept.

I think "mood scent" is a great term; I often feel that way about such candidates. Not a perfume in the classic sense, more of a smell.

Unfortunately, the fruits were way too overripe for me here...
Translated · Show originalShow translation
MidnightsMidnights 2 years ago
I understand that. I also prefer my fruits a bit crunchier, even though the overripe aspect fits well with the concept here.

* Striding over hay fields, at the delicate boundary between summer and autumn. The days are getting shorter, and the sun has cast a amber filter over its rays. The fruit is overripe, lying in wooden barrels and giving off an almost alcoholic note. One hand in the tobacco pouch, rubbing dried leaves between my fingers, the other reaching for dried apricots and snagging the last one (the rest have already been snatched by @Jeob, but they made up for it with the scent test, late summer thanks! 🫶🏼) Sweetly spiced chamomile tea steams in the distance, and as the sun slowly sets, a herbaceous, mossy warmth settles on my shoulders.
So beautiful, so linear, a late summer day in a bottle. I love everything about it, but I miss a bit of complexity. So “Mown” feels more like a mood scent (or to borrow a term: home pharmacy 😉) than a perfume.
