Dirty Hinoki Heretic 2021

Transported to a Japanese forest, or in a Finnish sauna; you feel like you’re in front of a fireplace at Christmas in the middle of the woods, it’s dim and everything is quiet. Extremely pleasant, slightly smoky scent.

BUT: it disappears after 2 minutes. I can really only smell it when I press my nose to my arm. As a comparison, I have Tam Dao on the other arm and it smells like a fresher, cleaner version of Dirty Hinoki with much more projection. I was very indecisive between the two scents, as Dirty Hinoki smells much better to me (a bit sweeter, almost vanilla-like with smoke) but Tam Dao is much more long-lasting.

I will probably layer it with something else and then see if it lasts longer. By the way, I would love a room spray with this scent :')

EDIT after a few weeks: I bought the bottle and I’m changing my review about the longevity. I can still smell the scent after hours. Sure, it’s not a Zara men’s fragrance where you can still perceive it the next day, but it’s not that below average either! I will gradually repurchase it, currently my favorite scent, especially for sauna days :-)
