Elixir des Merveilles Hermès 2006

I have had this perfume for a very long time, and back then I had to wean myself off it after weeks of wearing it. I found it that good. Recently, I came across it again in a dark corner of my old fragrance drawer. Quite empty already. If you don’t like patchouli, especially ambered patchouli: Stay away from it! However, if you long for a wonderful, enchanting, warming autumn sun that is refreshed by aromatic and incense-cooled patchouli: Voila! I don’t find this scent sweet, moderately balsamic, yet autumnally warm and at the same time refreshing. An absolute recommendation!
