In 2022, I was in green D for Mother's Day and was looking for a women's perfume.
In the end, it was one from Versace.
However, the saleswoman packed a sample of this Eau Givrée for me, and my first thought was: Oh no, you don't really like TdH anyway.
I usually stored most samples in the center console to test one here and there. Just like this one.
In the summer of 2022, it was finally this one’s turn:
And my first thought was: Wow, it’s like I just peeled a lemon. But there was something else - something icy that came to the forefront through the juniper berry and the pepper.
The DNA of the original TdH was thus also present and always noticeable.
However, the freshness here is the first "scent" and lasts quite a long time for such a fresh fragrance.
I wore the scent for about a week (mostly at work) and felt fresh the whole time.
My colleagues liked it too, as I didn't overdo it with the spraying.
However, the tester ran out quickly, and other samples and my standard fragrances came back into play.
I've never used a sample so long until it was empty. So, I liked the scent - subconsciously.
And that feeling lasted for weeks, months afterward...
Two weeks ago, my colleague came by with the original TdH, and I caught a whiff of that TdH DNA.
In that moment, I knew: You have to get the bottle. But of course, the flanker Eau Givrée.
Said and done, and the scent is now in my closet, and I’m wearing it at work in about 23 degrees outside.
I can't imagine a better scent right now - because I really "missed" it. This cool citrus freshness with a green/earthy touch.
